Hello team, i really like what you have done and would like to point out that i am missing 1 feature: when a podcast has been played to the end and theres no other from the same series, unplayed in the list, why not jumping back to the list of subscribed podcasts? This works only 1 out of 5 or 6 times for me and i have no clue how to get that working in a reliable way. Thanks anyway for keeping that piece of good software. Nice regards from Germany, Ralf

In its current form it is regularly producing crashes, for example when going back from the Player view to the playlist. But not only then. Development progress seems to be very slow at the moment. Also the switch to CloudKit is still on the ToDo list. (Was already promised for March 2016.) I love Downcast, but if there isn’t any progress soon I’ll have to look for something else.

iPad 3 with ios9 or ios10. Very Slow and often Crash

Used this for years. Since iOS 10 the list of podcasts is not displayed correctly. Blank screen when scrolling. Using Overcast instead now.

I want to love this app. I like, no love its features for smart playlist. HOWEVER at least twice since Ive downloaded this app it has caused my iDevices major problems, battery problems (for iPhone 5 and lately for an apple watch). And I figured this out by going to the Apple store and seeing the analysis done by the genius telling me that my battery is fine but this app is crashing all the time and messing with the system. "Erase this and restore as new and youll be fine". I did and I was. Its too bad, because I love the features, so much I was willing to forgive a lot of stuff. But killing my watch battery after 4 hours is the last draw. Fix this. Its been like that for years, fix this. No more crashes! For now Ill be using overcast.

My go-to app for listening to podcasts: works perfectly for me! I dont use all the features, but the listening interface is beautifully polished, easy to use to skip around, and always clear about where you are and what youre doing. A pleasure to use!

They seem to have fixed the problems I was having before, so I am a happy camper. This app works the way Apples app should but doesnt. In other words, it keeps proper track of which podcasts youve listened to and doesnt repeatedly download the same ones. Now if Downcast for OS X worked properly (it crashes constantly on my one year old MacBook Pro) I would be ecstatic about this app...!

I tried this app and kind of got tired of it. I tried the apple app, overcast and a good deal of other apps. I come back to this one every time. Despite wanting something else there is nothing else yet that satisfies like DownCast.

Love this app to keep up on all my podcasts. Love the varying speeds I can playback and still understand the content.

I have an Apple iPhone 5 and this app wont even open. Constantly crashes on startup! Do not download!

I love the priority selections, and everything works perfectly. Well made and supported

Ever since downloading this app, I have been impressed with it. It allows full screen video of Podcasts, something I wish Apple had done with its own app. Not only that, but all the benefits that I have with the native Podcasts App, I have here also. Scheduled downloading to the device to be played back later. Nicely done.

This app does what you expect it to. Great features like volume control and easy skipping. Fetches your subscribed casts while you sleep. I use this app for about an hour every day!

Ive tried almost all of the iOS podcast apps out there and this is the best one by far. Has a lot of great advanced features and lots of customizability. One of the only apps that supports importing podcasts from third party sources over AirDrop. All around great, with excellent customer support.

I literally use this app every day. It works exactly as I want it. You can use it in its default settings off the bat, and slowly experiment with its thousands of fine tuning settings. One podcast is broadcasted at a too low volume? No problem - change its default. Want some podcasts to download only over wifi - there is a setting for that. And so on. It is easy and fast to navigate, and reliable. I love this app.

Lots of great features. Simple, yet effective look. Best app for power users and avid podcaster listeners. One thing I wish it had is a web based backend to be able to listen on the computer and manage podcasts from the computer too.
